Set within the stunning grounds of the JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort, the championship standard 9-hole par 36 course offers beautiful scenery and exciting challenges for all abilities. Since its opening in 1998, the course has established itself as one of the most prestigious spots for golf in UAE playing host to legends including Tiger Woods, Ernie Els and Greg Norman. You can receive expert instruction at the Golf Academy where players of all levels sharpen their swing with five-star facilities.

EXPERIENCE

  • Each hole is uniquely landscaped with exotic trees, shrubs and original desert flora. The course also features a saltwater lake, which comes into play on five holes.
  • Sea views and the sight of peacocks wandering freely on the fairways add a special charm for picturesque golf in UAE.
  • The option of four different tees also provides variation and playability and the opportunity for an 18 hole.
  • Practice on the floodlit driving range with putting and chipping greens.
  • Fully qualified PGA professionals offer instruction in all areas and to any level of player at the Golf Academy.
  • The UAE golf academy also hosts group clinics aimed at introducing the game to new players or for a fun corporate event.

FACTS

  • The course is open to players with an official handicap certificate (maximum handicap for men is 28 and ladies is 36), holders of a current playing certificate or very experienced non-handicap players.
  • Beginners and non-golfers are not permitted to play on the course but are welcome to use the practice facilities or take lessons.
  • To facilitate the flow of play during busy periods, players will be requested to make up into four-ball tee time groups.
  • Appropriate golf attire is required at all times. Spike-less or soft spike shoes must be worn.
  • Electric carts and pull trolleys are available for hire.
  • Clubs may be hired for the range or course. Bag storage is available on request – clubs are cleaned and safely stored overnight.

TEE TIMES

  • October to April from 7am onwards.
  • May to September from 6.30am until nightfall.
  • Golf Reception and Pro-Shop from 6.30am until 9pm.
  • Driving range from 6.30am until 7.45pm (last bucket of balls issued at 7.15pm).
  • Players are requested to book in advance and provide information on handicap, whether playing 9 or 18 holes, preferred tee-times and contact information.
  • Tee time requests will be replied to within 24 hours.
