    Duties and Responsibilities:

    ·Report to duty in a timely manner and well groomed, in accordance with the hotel policy.

    ·Sign in before and sign out after duty.

    ·Ensure the area of work is always tidy and clean.  There are many shelves, cupboards, boxes, store rooms and containers; these should always be kept neat, clean and orderly.

    ·Assist with scheduled linen stock taking as and when requested.

    ·Aware of new linens and uniforms coming in.

    ·Aware of the varieties, colours, sizes of linens the hotel is using.

    ·Ensure that there are always folded cold towels ready in the fridge for various departments’ usage for guests.

    ·Up to date knowledge of the hotel and its grounds and facilities

    ·Aware of LQA standards, The International Standard Organization and Dubai Municipality requirements, HCCP, Hazardous Critical Control Point..

    ·Strictly follow the procedures on general security on handling of keys.

    ·Ensure a responsible attitude when handling hotel property, such as the equipment worked with, and to report any malfunctioning equipment to the Line Manager.

    ·Ensure that procedures on discarded linen are followed, and assist in ensuring that staffs are adhering and aware.

    ·Assist in large functions taking place out of the hotel in liaison with the Food and Beverage department (seasonal).

    ·Ensure that all uniforms are thoroughly checked and necessary repairs carried out accordingly and liaising with the tailor or seamstress.

    ·Ensure that log books, files etc. are maintained and updated.

    ·Carry out any job related duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Exec. or Linen Room Supervisor.

    ·Ensure that associates’ uniforms issued are logged and recorded for tracking.

    ·Prepare linen as per Food and Beverage requirements for outlets or outside functions.

    ·Ensure Standard Operating Procedures as per HACCP guidelines are strictly carried out on a daily basis.

    ·Ensure that uniforms are thoroughly quality checked and sorted accordingly.

    Flexible in carrying out any other duties as requested by management, which may include, amongst others, carrying out duties within the other JA Resorts & Hotels properties
