    Compete like a champion! Spread over 50 acres are a champion-standard 9-hole Par 35 golf course, set within the grounds of JA The Resort, designed by the famous Peter Harradine. The course has established itself as one of the most prestigious spots for golf in Dubai playing host to legends including Tiger Woods, Ernie Els and Greg Norman.

    The 34 year old, is ranked 29th in the Official World Golf Rankings. Rafa has a close association with both Dubai and JA Resorts & Hotels, he signed his agreement with JA stating, “The biggest win of my career was at the 2012 Dubai Desert Classic. I have an extremely fond attachment to both the city and JA Resorts & Hotels as the tournament’s official co-sponsor. I’m honoured to be part of the JA family and excited to build my collaboration with the brand.”

    Course Rules

    • The course is open to players with an official handicap certificate (maximum handicap for men is 28 and ladies is 36), holders of a current playing certificate or very experienced non-handicap players.
    • Beginners and non-golfers are not permitted to play on the course but are welcome to use the practice facilities or take lessons.
    • To facilitate the flow of play during busy periods, players will be requested to make up into four-ball tee time groups.
    • Appropriate golf attire is required at all times.
    • Electric carts and pull trolleys are available for hire.
    • Clubs may be hired for the range or course.

    • October to April from 07:00 onwards.
    • May to September from 06:30 until nightfall.
    • Golf Reception and Pro-Shop from 06:30 until 21:00
    • Driving range from 06:30 until 19:45 (last bucket of balls issued at 19:15).
    • Players are requested to book in advance and provide information on handicap, whether playing 9 or 18 holes, preferred tee-times and contact information.
    • Tee time requests will be replied to within 24 hours.
