We have launched a new loyalty program called JA DISCOVERY which will provide you more rewarding experiences and benefits than Club Al Safir can offer. Your JA DISCOVERY membership and status will be recognized across all DISCOVERY brands with over 500 hotels, resorts, and palaces worldwide.
10 points equals a credit value of AED 1, which can be redeemable on your future hotel bill against hotel related services and facilities. The hotel related services include food & beverages, sports facilities, room rates and room upgrades (payable directly with the hotel only) telephone charges and any other facilities or services as announced by the hotel.Third party Food & Beverage outlets and third party services are not included.
All points earned are valid for 36 months from the date of check out.
Points are only redeemable at the Hotel Front Office and not directly within hotel's outlets. To redeem a service or facilities with your Club Al Safir points, you should sign the amount to your room bill and then advise Front Office cashier upon check-out the amount of points you would like to redeem and adjustment will be made to your account and a redemption receipt shall be issued. Third party Food & Beverage outlets and third party services are not included.
Yes, you can still use your points on your next visit within the validity period.
You can redeem your points on any of your visits as long as they are still valid however points will no longer be earned for any future stay unless booking is made prior to this communication that was sent out on 17 September 2018.
No, points cannot be used as payments for taxi fares or car hire, hotel shops, tour/activity bookings and third party Food & Beverage outlets.
Yes as long as your stay was prior to the date of the Club Al Safir closure announcement that was sent on 17 September 2018.
No, points are only valid for 3 years as per the terms & conditions of the Club Al Safir programme.
No, points are not transferable. Points earned are not transferable to any other member or non-member or to be combined with points of another member.
No, points are only redeemable at the hotel upon check out and can only be redeemed against the hotel related services such as food & beverages, sports facilities, room rates and room upgrades, telephone charges and any other facilities or services as announced by the hotel.
As your booking has been made prior to the Club Al Safir closure announcement on 17 September 2018, yes you can still earn your points on your next visit and you can redeem them within the natural validity period of 3 years.
Yes, you can also earn your nights on your active JA DISCOVERY account if the stay is eligible for DISCOVERY tier qualification and benefits i.e. type of rate

No, JA DISCOVERY doesn’t deal in points. Rather, the programme rewards loyalty with Local Experience Awards. Our loyalty programme, DISCOVERY, entitles you to a selection of hotel benefits each time you stay with us or at over 500 Discovery properties across the globe.

Yes, you can still receive the Club Al Safir Platinum benefits until 20th December 2019.
