 “Baheb Hatta” – Hatta Fort Hotel launches campaign to promote a love for Hatta
As
the United Arab Emirates prepares to celebrate its 39th UAE National
Day on 2nd December, Dubai’s exclusive mountain retreat, the Hatta Fort
Hotel has launched the “Baheb Hatta” (meaning ‘I Love Hatta’) campaign
to honour one of the UAE’s most loved and popular destinations. The
“Baheb Hatta” campaign will aim to promote and raise awareness of Hatta
as a varied destination and galvanise local UAE and Hatta residents,
overseas visitors, companies, organisations and points of interest in
and around Hatta, to voice their personal support and love for the
area. The charming town of Hatta and its sublime natural features in
the surrounding desert and mountains, was once a five-day journey by
camel from Dubai. These days it can be reached in just over an hour’s
drive via one of two scenic routes.  “Having
been privileged to enjoy being surrounded by Hatta’s loveliness for so
long, we only thought it apt to create a community and offer the
numerous other supporters of this beautiful area the opportunity to
voice and show their love in solidarity,” said Sergio Magnaldi, General
Manager of the Hatta Fort Hotel. “As a Dubai and UAE getaway highlight
for so many years, there are many expatriate and UAE National families
who have had children growing up over weekends on the grounds of the
hotel, or friends stopping over for lunch after camping in the
surrounding areas. There are so many people with very fond memories of
Hatta and “Baheb Hatta” is a way to reignite those memories and share
ideas or hidden gems of Hatta with others”.
 The
campaign also ties in with the striking mountain resort’s 30th
anniversary which Hatta Fort Hotel will celebrate in 2011. Opened in
1981 and refurbished in 2007, Hatta fort Hotel comprises 50 deluxe
chalet-style rooms enjoying stunning views of the Hajar Mountains and
resort gardens. Several restaurants and activities offer additional
ways to enjoy and explore the area.
