 Watercooled and Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa sign an agreement to change the face of watersports in Dubai.
Watercooled Watersports, the global provider of “5 star” watersports equipment and instruction centres has signed an agreement to provide watersports to the guests staying at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa together with day visitors to the hotel and its Club Joumana. Watercooled will bring their unique brand of high-tech, high-spec watersports equipment and top quality instruction and training to one of Dubai’s favourite beach destinations. Watercooled’s new watersports beach “Club House” embraces style, quality and functionality for a new generation of watersports enthusiasts. Together with Watercooled’s top-of-the range equipment, suitable for all age-ranges and experience levels, the Centre will provide tuition and training from experienced and fully qualified instructors, whilst the accreditation of internationally recognised qualifications will also be possible. The different watersports on offer from this exciting new centre will include dinghy sailing (RS Quba, Feva, Vision), Hobie Catamaran (Tatoo), stand up paddle boards, windsurfers, kayaks, kite-surfing, water-skiing, wake boarding Zap Cat thrill rides and towed inflatables. Watercooled is investing in the ever-desirable, tow boat of choice, Mastercraft to use for all its towed watersports. The Centre will provide basic kit hire (fully assembled and rigged for convenience and assurance) for free-sailing (rates available by the hour, day or week) or organised individual, group or school lessons for those needing instruction. Corporate programmes and events can also be accommodated. A programme of sailing events with a racing schedule for enthusiasts wanting to take their watersports to the next level is currently being planned, together with a variety of improver sailing courses and workshops. Meanwhile for those who just want to relax whilst afloat, yoga on a stand up paddle board courses will also be available. The ethos of Watercooled is very much focused on safety first which is achieved by maintaining the equipment thoroughly to ensure the highest of standards and by offering tuition from staff that are fully trained to RYA (Royal Yachting Association) levels. Watercooled also has its very own accreditation in place allowing guests to improve their qualifications or ‘pick up where they last left off’ at any of the Watercooled watersports centres worldwide.
