On December 20th, the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa received a visit from some very special guests. Over 30 children from the Special Needs Future Development Centre, along with their teachers traveled to the award-winning resort for their annual Christmas Party. The children were treated to some musical games with the resort’s animation team and got stuck in to some festive arts & crafts. They then helped themselves to the festive buffet and were even visited by Santa, who had traded Rudolph in for the resort camel. Each child met and had their photo taken with Santa and they all enjoyed one final dance before the party finished up.
The Centre operates with the ultimate goal of integrating special needs individuals into society as independent, motivated individuals. SNF aspires to better prepare its students for mainstream life via personal management, functional academics and society participation for leisure and vocational skill development. Fredrik Reinisch, General Manager of Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa was delighted to host the event and said “It was a pleasure to have the children join us on the beach for the day and we were all thrilled to see them kick off their shoes and socks and enjoy their time on the sand. Santa’s visit had everyone excited and we’re delighted we were able to provide a Christmas outing for the Centre, whose work is truly inspiring”.
