Jebel Ali Golf Resort offers fishing trips suitable for everyone from beginners through to the standards required by a professional sports fisherman.  Jebel Ali Golf Resort is located on the shore of the Arabian Gulf, where the waters are full of rich sea life allowing for a fantastic days fishing with an excellent chance of a large days catch.
The Jebel Ali Palm that stretches out into the Gulf is better known to fishermen as a large, man-made reef, whilst the Jebel Ali shipping channel has created deep water passages. Both of these structures have contributed to an amazing habitat for fish and our prime fishing grounds are located only 15 minutes boat ride from our marina. Our ability to offer such a diverse day of fishing is largely due to the standard of our boats, which are kitted out with top of the line, international-standard, sports fishing equipment, including full landing gear and fishing belts. The equipment onboard our two vessels provides us with the capability to target Pelagic and Reef fish using different techniques including Trolling, Spinning and Jigging. To locate the perfect fishing spot we use a Garmin map 40’s GPS/Fishfinders.  Trawling: Our boats have been equipped with Shimano Tiagra 30 reels and Diawa Sealine rods, which are spooled with a 50lbs Monofilament line. This set up enables trolling for small and large Pelagic Fish which inhabit these waters, consisting largely of Kingfish, Queenfish, Barracuda, Cobia, Bonito and Trevally.
Spinning and Jigging: Our boats have also been equipped with Shimano Tiagra rods and Shimano Stradic reels. This set up enables the ability to catch a wider range of fish by Spinning with smaller casting lures. Alternatively, Jigging targets reef fish species such as Grouper (Hammours), Spangled Emperor (Sherri), as well as various types of pelagic fish. Each vessel is operated by the Captain, who is fully certified in STCW95, First Aid and Power Boating. Our Captains have a wide range of knowledge in their fields and can answer any fishing questions, teach you how to use the equipment and even help you catch your trophy fish. The boats also have toilet facilities, cool boxes with ice, stereos, comfortable seating and a range of soft drinks and snacks.  We hold full safety equipment to meet international standards, including First Aid Kits, Flares, Life rings, Life jackets, Vhf, GPS and the new mandatory U.A.E. tracking system.
